Kim is one of seven partners of Mantyla McReynolds. The firm was founded by Kim and his partner, Don Mantyla, in August 1989.
 Kim graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting in 1979, and has 25 years of business experience. He is a member of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Kim loves golfing, skiing, snowmobiling and reading. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
