Matt started with the firm part time in 1999. In July 2003, Matt went to work for KPMG as an Audit and Risk Advisory Services associate. Matt returned to Mantyla McReynolds in September 2004. Matt specializes in financial statement audits of both publicly-held and privately-held companies.
 Matt attended the University of Utah where he received a Master of Professional Accounting degree in May 2003 and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in December 2001.
Matt and his wife, Amy, have two boys. Matt enjoys snowmobiling, wakeboarding and golf.
