Jim is one of seven partners of Mantyla McReynolds and has practiced as a Certified Public Accountant since 1983. He joined the firm in 1990 and has been a partner since 1995. His areas of expertise include small business accounting and consulting, business and individual taxation, litigation support, and insurance company reporting (NAIC).
A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants, he has served on a
 variety of committees for the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants, including the Federal Taxation and Continuing Professional Education committees. Jim has been invited to instruct fellow professionals from Logan to St. George.
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Utah. His work in industry, as a controller and Chief Financial Officer, compliments his public accounting experience.
The joy of his life is his wife Marilyn and their children and grandchildren. In his spare time he enjoys travel, reading and helping others. Along with his professional life, he is active in his church and community.
