Benefits Offered by Mantyla McReynolds
Mantyla McReynolds strives to create an environment in which life goals for firm team members will be reached. In addition to competitive compensation, Mantyla McReynolds provides the following benefits:
- Vacation/Personal Leave Time: Firm team members receive 60 hours during year 1, and 120 hours per year during years 2 through 5. After year 5, this continues to increase by one day annually up to 160 hours per year. Vacation hours are accrued on a monthly basis, and up to 40 hours may be rolled into the following year.
- Production Bonus: Team members have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program based upon their productivity and efficiency on projects to which they are assigned.
- CPA Exam: Firm team members receive a discount on the Becker review course as well as reimbursement of up to $1,500 upon passing the CPA exam within a specified time period.
- Holidays: A firm team member is eligible for 8 paid holidays plus his/her birthday.
- Schedule: During non-busy season (May - December), the office closes at noon on Fridays.
- 401(k): Firm team members are eligible to contribute to the firm's 401(k) plan if they have provided at least 1 year of service and are at least 21 years of age. The firm contributes 3% of compensation after 1 year of full-time employment, subject to enrollment dates per the company's 401(k) plan documents (available on request).
- Insurance: The firm pays a fixed amount toward health insurance costs, and team members have an option of selecting a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a traditional plan. Team members can also opt for dental insurance coverage through a specified insurance provider. The firm pays for a group long-term disability plan.
- International Firm Alliance: Mantyla McReynolds is an independent member of the BDO Seidman Alliance (BDO) which gives team members access to BDO's national training, research and helpdesk.
- Continuing Education: The firm pays for all professional continuing education costs required for state licensing and CPA membership requirements. Education consists of a variety of in-house, local, and national training.
- Flexible Benefits: Mantyla McReynolds offers a Section 125 plan (Cafeteria) which allows team members to set aside a certain amount, pre-tax, for unreimbursed medical and dependent care expenses.
- Mentor: Firm team members receive an experienced mentor to provide assistance and guidance.
- Professional Association Dues: Professional team members are encouraged to become members of the AICPA and UACPA. The firm pays all associated costs.
- Technology: Mantyla McReynolds is a paperless firm. Firm team members receive the latest computer technology and are provided dual monitors to assist with productivity.
- Travel: Team members will have the opportunity to travel occasionally for engagement or education assignments. However, travel time is limited as Mantyla McReynolds values firm members' work/life balance. Audit team members may travel, on average, 2-3 weeks per year.
- Engagements: Firm team members receive experience by working on clients in various industries. Clients include a combination of small to mid-size companies, including publicly traded companies registered to file with the SEC. Mantyla McReynolds also works with clients having operations in multiple states, with foreign operations and with not-for-profit organizations.
